Here are some great sites I like to visit!

The Artist Woman, Gail Bartel, has a ton of ideas and projects to do with students either for your art classes, or to enhance areas of curriculum you are covering

This Reading Mama has a ton of great resources for free to support students through hands-on learning, primarily with literacy

This is a school district in B.C. that provides math lessons and activities for k-9 students

Right Brained Mom has inspiring activities and free resources that encourage creativity through play. 

Jessica Meacham's class website has a lot of great ideas and resources. I especially like her Reader's Workshop mini lessons

Dr. Nicki is a math specialist (focus is guided math), who has a ton of amazing ideas and resources through her Pinterest page. A lot of these activities are free!

I love to search for resources and ideas on Pinterest! There are lots of great resources for starting the Daily 5 in your classroom

Dr. Jody Carrington is a psychologist who specializes in trauma. She wrote an excellent book called "Kids These Days". Warning, she does use some colour language. 

This is a great slideshow that gives an overview of the Reggio Emilia approach, focusing on the 8 guiding principles. 

Sally Haughey is the founder of Fairy Dust Teaching and she provides amazing ideas and workshops on how to create inspiring classroom environments, as well as how to provoke curiosity and wonder in young learners. (Reggio-inspired)
